Fishing Boat

This is the original 'plug' hull that
I built from scratch. I'm converting
it to a fishing boat as it was a bit
heavy for a yacht due to the
construction method. It'll make a
nice fisher though I reckon. I
started by cutting off the cabin
and cockpit and most of the keel
which took the lead ballast with it
and left a nice sized keel for my
purpose. I'm using a 30 mm prop
on the old shaft and a stern hung
rudder. The scale will be 1/18
which will coincide with my latest
figure casting pieces (no
accident). I'm thinking along the
lines of a scallop boat at this
stage but may change my mind
as it progresses as I usually do.
